Visiting the Wat Nantaram in Chiang Kham

The Wat Nantaram in Chiang Kham - North Thailand

In the insignificant little town of Chiang Kham is hidden a beautiful teak-wooden temple, build in Burmese Shan style. See the location tag for the exact location. The all temple is decorated with fine wood carvings and in de main building is a huge solid teak-wood Buddha image in Mandalay style. At the backside of the temple is a small kind of museum  with old coins, pottery and art. The all temple is build on 68 wooden pillars! Unfortunately it seems unknown when the temple was build. Following are a few photos of this beautiful piece of art.
