Local rice-mill in our village in Nan
The rice goes in at one side and clean edible rice come out at the other side. There are 2 rest products in the process (husk and bran layers) Both are used again.
The rice-mill is run by an gasoline engine. In the old days there would be steam-machines and until a few years ago there were still a few of those steam-machines in working order in Thailand. For more information about processing rice see Milling Rice
