Rising water-level of the Nan River

At Juni 2016
You might remember the photo on the left. It is the view over the Nan River seen from a sala in our village. This photo was taken in June 2016.

Currently at 15 August 2016 it has been raining the past 3 days and even worse it has been raining for about 20 hours non-stop.

So the water-level of the Nan River is rising quickly. Via news of friends I have been informed that parts of Tha Wang Pha (40 km north of Nan city) have been flooded. And that parts of Nan city have been flooded.

This might be all very temporarily. Although there might also still a lot of water coming from the mountains. The Nan River begins about 150 km north of Nan city and before it is contributed by 3 main rivers. The Nan River goes all the way to Uttatadit (Sirikit Lake), Phitsanulok and Nakon Sawan. And even merges with the Ping River that finally merges with the Chao Phraya River. Following are 2 photos to show how quick the water-level can rise.
